This retreat is for established couples that have either lost connection, or are too busy to spend time on their relationship. It is a blend of luxury surroundings, educations workshops, space for conversation, and romance.

Warwick is a country town in the south of Queensland and is a spectacular 2 hour drive from Brisbane. The Abbey Boutique Hotel was once a convent and has been lovingly converted into a beautiful hotel. It also housed many Brisbane school girls during WW11 as they were encouraged to leave Brisbane.
This retreat is targeted to established couples, but any couple will get great benefit from the workshops provided. It is not suitable for couples that have experience recent infidelity or FDV. Please contact the facilitator to discuss options in this case.
Some of the topics covered will be communication and conflict styles, love languages, financial goals for couples, intimacy and desire discrepancy.
MARY MACKENZIE is an experienced couple’s counsellor and she will be facilitating the retreat, accompanied by her partner Dave.
Sloan Wilkins is an Executive Financial Coach, and he will be facilitation the conversation around uniting financial goals.
The package include 3 x 1 hour private counselling sessions with Mary or another counsellor. The educational workshop sessions will encourage conversation but will not be group therapy. No person will be asked to share intimate experiences or feelings.
Yes, all meals and accommodation are included in the package.
A cocktail or mocktail is included at the predinner cocktail hour on the Friday.
Other that than all drinks are to be charged to the room for payment at check out.
Comfortable clothing for day wear. You may like to change for cocktail hour, dinner and the mystery dinner date. It will be mid winter and very cool in the evenings. Just right for some cosy fireplace company.

Yes, there is a maximum of 8 couples, so spaces are limited.
No, this is a designated time for adults. The Hotel is a child free space.
Yes, there will be some free time for exploring the town of Warwick and surrounds. However, if you wish to venture further than the town you may wish to allow for an extra day before or after the retreat.
